Four Freebie Fridays: More Marketing Madness in March

Shift ONE is proud to announce the return of the wildly popular Four Freebie Friday’s free digital marketing courses!

This time it’s More Marketing Madness in March and we’re covering all new topics!

 

Our Four Freebie Friday’s training course was sold out two weeks in advance, so it occurred to us that there actually may be some small interest in what we have to say.

To this effect we’ve decided to do it again with an emphasis on Blogging, Google Analytics, WordPress, and eCommerce.

As with the last course, classes will be held with 2 hour sessions per day, each covering a specific topic, which means that you don’t have to resign to attend. Just fake a migraine every Friday and you’ll be golden.

Friday 6^th March 2015 – Introduction to Blogging and Writing for the Web

Does the thought of blogging give you the Heebie-Jeebie’s? Haven’t written in earnest since high school?

Never fear! Writing is easy – if you know the tricks. See, even we can do it, so it really can’t be that hard! If you can hold a semi-literate conversation on the subject of your choice, then there is no reason why you can’t just have the same conversation in your head (c’mon – we all do it!) and put it on paper.

Blogging and writing for the web in general is absolutely vital if you want to have a successful online presence.

Google Analytics is a really simple tool that will help you cut through the clutter and give you figures that make sense to you and will give you a clear picture of how healthy – or not – your online presence is.

Aah – WordPress. That wonderfully powerful, simple, and easy to use website and blogging platform.

Want to build the most amazing website in the world but you don’t even know what CSS or HTML coding means? No sweat! WordPress does all of that for you, with hundreds of customisable themes, plug-ins, and a jillion forums to find answers on.

From a simple Blog site, to a fully fledged high-end eCommerce platform – it can be done easily and simply on WordPress.

Friday 27^th March 2015 – Introduction to eCommerce

Got something to sell? Or a whole bunch of somethings? Sounds like you may need to brush up on your eCommerce skills.

Or maybe you already have an eCommerce site that some dude you met through a friend set up for you that doesn’t actually generate any sales, and you’re wondering how it can all be going so wrong.

Relax. Like everything else in life, eCommerce is simple enough to understand and manage if you know the tricks and have access to the right tools. That’s where we come in.
